Temptation Gifts Ltd has been delivering exceptional products and services since March 1983, and they started operating online in July 2000. It operates seven major high-street stores and two flourishing websites. They provide services to over half a million customers through both online and in-store purchases. Objective
Our initial project focused on the large-scale Magento 2 migration. This involved migrating customized features and millions of records from Magento 1 to Magento 2. The main objective was to have the transition with minimum disturbance to any key functionality, including custom integrations with Temptation Gifts’ EPOS system, warehouse management, and CRM and Finance departments.
We also had the responsibility to maintain their SEO ranking during the migration. In this regard, we had worked wonderfully to minimize disturbance to Temptation Gifts’ online visibility.

Challenges
A fundamental challenge was to migrate the huge data volumes containing millions of records and bespoke developments. Ensuring a smooth transition of these features during migration—presents significant complexity. Key integration systems involved EPOS, warehouse management, CRM, and finance, which require careful planning and precise delivery. Maintaining SEO effectiveness was yet another major challenge throughout these transitions. A strong strategy was required to minimize disturbance to SEO ranking was a must. Finally, the parallel task of nurturing and maintaining long-term client relationships while constantly delivering exceptional customer service may pose a challenge.
